Yojimbo Crap

I have followed every faq, and guide about the obtaining Yojimbo deal.

It states to offer 125,001 gil (picking the 3rd option of course), then raising by 1 gil til he asks 205K.

Well I offered 125,002 and he told me to screw :mad2:

Any reason why he doesn't lower his offer?

P.S. I have over 700K gil, so I will probably have to whittle hi down to 225k, and give him the 675 for the 2 teleport spheres.

EDIT: Well I tried something I didn't think would work, and it did. I DECREASED the gil by 1 (to 125,000) and he asked 205K. Faqs seem wrong to me.

When he asks you the question at the beginning (about why you want his help I think), what did you answer?

If you want Zanmoto then you could choose to pay him 4x the normal to make it easier to get it later *shrugs* I never found money too important in that game so I never payed attention to paying low.

Might be 3x, I could be forgetting, but he'll say something like "you alone know my true value."

I picked the 3rd option, but going by all the FAQs, it says raise your bid by 1 (after you give the initial 125,001 bid) so I assume this means 125,002. But he says "No Deal"

I actually lowered my initial bid by 1 gil from 125,001 to 125,000, and he asked 205,000 gil.

I then payed him 615K gil to get my 2 teleport spheres. This is where he states that I alone know his true value.

I payed him the 250k.

then 1k each time i use him.... i get zanmato before summoning each battle.

HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE TO PAY HIM TO DO ZAMATO. IS ZAMATO THAT GOOD?

You have to pay him significantly more if you don't live in Europe or Australia or South America or wherever all are PAL zones.

Zanmoto will kill anything.
