You should never underestimate the power of having Hades linked with Added Effect in your weapon.
loads of mastered counter materia juctioned with materias like hades, KoTR , restore, contain and life E.C.T and when anything attacks you, you attack harder and heal. if you want you can have cover materias as well and also if you master KoTR tons of times and juction as many counters and KoTRs as possible and it will kill even weapons with ease.
