I started looking it up, but goddamn is it obscure, this is all I could find.

I know I had a lot of fun playing it in the olden days though.

OMG... OFINE is one of my favorite games. Between the awesome gameplay, the outstanding soundtrack, and the beautiful scenery... "WOW" is the only thing I can really say about this game. I can't believe there is actually someone who's never played it!! OMG.. Have you been living under a rock, v.e.n.o.m.???

Sounds fun, any game based on winning at the internets is, but I haven't played it. :)

Yea, and it's even harder because of the emotional shock that comes right before the battle. I know I could never focus well enough to perform at my best.

Yeah, finding out that the main love interest was actually a man pretending to be a woman behind the handle xXxhawtgurlxXx was a real blow.

But who could forget that ending? I just sat gaping at the screen for like 30 minutes after that. I couldn't believe it.

I only have the theme song from the Japanese version, Legend of the Deep Octopus: Ofine's Illicit Adventure Story.

dot hack totally stole their entire concept from this classic game, it's a crime.
