DVD9 to DVD5 ?

I need help involving my copy of Xenosaga episode 1
I imported it, because it wasnt released in UK. I have been using Swap Magic for a few months and it boots games pefectly. But Xenosaga gave me some problem. I was hoping it wasnt the downfall of my PS2, but found out that Xenosaga is one of those games that wont boot because it is a DVD9 ( dual layered )
I found out that you can change it to a DVD5 somehow ( DVD5 are the ones that play when booted )
I just need to know how, anyone know anything on how to do it or a website that can help me

I think you are screwed. You can do it with a normal DVD because it is just a compression scheme on the video that makes it so big but a game is a different story. You could try to do it to the game's video files I suppose with a program called DVD shrink. I am not sure how well it would work...if at all.

Well, good Dual layer DVD±RW drives are only around 23 GBP. :D
