Maybe its cus I used to live near that neighborhood in Richmond but that film was good.
It made me laugh and was interestting.
That was the first film I saw my mom cry to,though for the life of me I cant figure out why.
I've never seen the movie, but I heard the real Coach Carter speak at a conference one time.
I saw it, I can honestly say I liked it:)
I didn't see it but it looked reaaaaally good. So far, I think Remember the Titans is the best sports movie ever made.
One of my favs but there were better.
Definitley my second favorite, but Friday Night Lights is my favorite. Let Boobie spin!Quote:

Sports movies nowadays just shame the better ones like Mighty Ducks.
Friday Night Lights was a good one, just REALLY inaccurate historically.
-Permian played IN Marshall who is Red and white (not purple and gold) and lost 13-12 instead of winning 41-7
-They played Carter in the Semi's not the State Championship game and lost 14-9 after dominating most of the game, not the other way around.
-Carter had to forfeit their state championship because of an ineligible player dispute. The movie never even TOUCHED on this.
-The town of Permian looked small and poor, when in actuality, they were quite rich. (took four private jets from Odessa to Marshall to play)
It's still a great movie, though. Had it been historically accurate, I'd probably consider it to be one of my favorites.
To whoever said Mighty Ducks, you rock. I liked Miracle a lot as well, though.
Hockey dont count in my book.
