FFVII: Advent Children Breaks 1 Million Mark

Following its September 14th release in Japan, it took the DVD and UMD versions of the movie sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Final Fantasy VII only three weeks to sell 700,000 copies. Producer Shinji Hashimoto said: "I'm extremely happy that we managed to achieve sales that can only be called wonderful in particular for an original movie title." Square Enix wanted to use the movie's success in Japan as the company moves towards bringing it to North America and Europe.

Adventchildren.net posted a similar news item yesterday, so it didn't happen months ago.

Good to see that AC is selling pretty well. Although seeing how it's been out for 4 months already, I wonder how it took this long to sell one million copies.

I got a copy off ebay, that'll do me!

I'm not going over the top to buy something with a sexy cover or what includes free gifts, I don't buy DVD's for that. <3

Finally...got...AC...after...waiting...ages...in the...queue. Realized...I...didnt...have...a...DVD...player. Ran back here to watch it on the computer. Tired out. And now theres a box set?
