CPU/Attack/Defense WHATEVER!

The core of the giant fight is probably the most confusing to why can't u just cut wires?

Start by destroying the Defender because every turn it will heal the CPU. The Defender is the orb at the bottom. I think after this, the CPU casts Reflect on itself, but if not, pound it with Flare and strong Elemental Magic. As tempting as it is to attack the Attacker to remove its 200+ damage attack, don't. If you do, the CPU will use Globe99 for a good 9999 damage to a character, and does it twice or maybe even thrice, before reviving both the Attacker and Defender. So have Cecil attack with the Excalibur, Rosa Aim arrows or heal, Rydia attack because all Summons but Chocobo target all enemies, and her attack is usually stronger than Chocobo), Edge Throw weapons/Shuriken or attack, and FuSoYa heal.
