Question on the stats

Is there a way to inhance your stats on the game or what? Right now with This is what I got with the main character and I'm sure its as high as it gets but is there anything I can do?

Zidane
Speed : 32
Str : 65
mag : 57
spirit : 48
Attack : 100
Def : 44
Evade : 35
Magic Def : 54
Magic Evade : 16

Hp : 6840
Mp : 365
Lv : 99
Exp : 7,791,831
All his skills learned

This will be a short thread probally, but if this is as high as it goes then Zidane would kick Squall or Cloud straight out of the game park since there stats can go up to 255. Anyways Please help!

Speed, Strength, Magic and Spirit are the only stats that can be raised by levelling up. The maximum is 50, 99, 99 and 50 respectively. However, it is not possible to a character to achieve maximum stats through the usual means.
