Mega Man: Maverick Hunter

I played it at work on my lunchbreak yesterday. It's brilliant. Aside from the obvious graphical and musical overhaul, which is glorious (except for Spark Mandrill's stage, my opinion), It's like playing an entirely new game. After the first level, you've got an actual boss fight, rather than getting the crap kicked out of you. They relocated all of the power suit upgrades as well. That kind of threw me off upon not getting my Power Slide in Chill Penguin's stage. From what I've read, Vile's version more than makes it worth the money as well. I require it.

I didn't even realize this had come out already. So did they do justice to Storm Eagle's theme?

That reminds me, I need to get the Mega Man X Collection!

Storm Eagle and Armored Armadillo's new music for the win.

Sephex just beat the game. I heard the whole anime prequel episode. Sounded kind of cool.

Yeah, it was--even though the english voice acting was kind of sucky.

Anyway, GREAT remake. This pumps me up for Powered Up, which I will probably be getting the day of release (the demo helped too).

Makes me wish I had a PSP

I kind of wish I had a PSP for this. At the same time, since I don't have a PSP, I'm kind of annoyed that Mega Man X Collection had most of it's extra content pulled because this game (and possibly more remakes if it does well) was coming out.
