help me :(
"Terminated as error occurred in FINAL FANTASY XI. Failed to initialize Direct3D. Please check that this computer has the required specifications to run FINAL FANTASY XI.(-1)"
This came up when I tried to play the game :( What's up with that? my computer is good enough for Final Fantasy XI seeing as how I played it like two hours ago.
-
Ew. That happens to me sometimes. =/
I wait a few hours, shut down my computer, and try it again and it works all of a sudden. I don't know what the hell is up with that error.
-
but it's been like that for like a day now. :(
-
Are you using Windower, silly?
-
Kick it hard, or email the support team. Check out the FFXI site.
-
no, not using Windower.
and emailing square-penix never helps.

try un-installing it. You may be missing a piece to the game such as hardware most likely not but still need to check it all. You also might want to call the helpline. It'll take a long time but if you really want to play this game it's worth the call. Also your networking may be messed up.

Try USING windower.
I know that sounds weird, but after I installed windower, I got that same error when I tried playing FFXI on the regular POL but when using windower, the game worked fine.
-
Well, it crashes when it tries to go over to windowed mode. :p
-
It worked when I got a better graphics card.
-
Levi weren't you going to change out the graphics card?
-
I was, but I decided on eating instead. I'll try it on Sunday.
