Okay, I've gotta know. Has anyone else watched this show, and what do you think?
It's a completely simple concept, but I can't look away from it. I can't get enough of it.

Tony and I watched it a few times and now he keeps randomly asking me DEAL OR NO DEAL??
But yeah, the show is strangely fascinating.
And it's got Howie Mandel! How can you lose?

It's so boring. Even worse than Wheel Of Fortune. Ugh.
I watch and hope that they pick the big dollar amount briefcases. :radred:
Yeah, I love watching greedy people say NO DEAL to a perfectly good deal and then get owned. :D
Same here. My 11 year old cousin was trying to explain it to me once and I just stared at him. Noel Edmonds is naff at pretending to be serious.Quote:

Can't see the appeal of it at all. It just seems like a luck-of-the-draw contest, dragged out over an hour so as to be as irritating as possible. Also, the contestant on the episode I saw was quite possibly the biggest jerk in the world, so that's tainted my opinion of the show forever.
P.S. Noel Edmonds is sexy.
indeed he is:love:Quote:

As hannah said we have watched it a couple times. I want to figure out the formula they use to compute the deal amounts. I will figure it out!
My theory was it is the average between the amounts still available, the amount in "the box", and a random % from like -10~+10, rounded accordingly to a rounded figure in either direction, depending on the size of the number. All I know is that there is some random factor included, though I'd have to take the entire history of the show to figure it out, since the number of series needed would have to be quite high.Quote:
