World Map ?

Well, everyone would assume that FFIII would have one, but Square havent been fond of the World Map recently as shown in FFX, so can anyone confirm it'll be there.

Also, does anyone know whom they're getting to compose the new soundtrack?

FFIII does have a world map. It just takes a usable item to view the local area, instead of the whole thing at the push of a button.

Nobuo Uematsu said when he left Square Enix that he stil considered the possibility of working occasionally for the company as an outside contractor. So I suppose that's what's happening this time.

You assume wrong. It IS there, and it shows one of two areas: the Floating Continent, and the real World. You require MidgetBread or a white magic spell (might be Libra).

I apologize to the Mods, but hehehe... it's too big to be an attachment. It's what, 300kb uncompressed? And its dimensions are nearly as large as a Wallpaper.

Anywho, I don't see why they would ditch the world map just because it's being remade. From the look of the screen shot they are pretty much just taking the designs from the original game and rendering them in 3D. If they are staying that ridiculously true to the original, then ditching the world maps simply would make any sense.
