Would someone explain this to me (concerning keyblades)?

This may contain semi-spoilers from both games, or no spoilers at all, depending on how anal you are compared to me. Proceed ar your own risk.

Ok, so one of the main points of the story is that there's this kid, Sora, who can weild this awesome powerful weapon that has the ability to seal the worlds and all sorts of other stuff. They go on and on about how Sora was "chosen" by the keyblade, and how he's "the one" and how lucky and amazing he must be for the keyblade to have chosen him...

So why the hell do King Mickey, Riku/Ansem, and Kairi have keyblades too? Maybe I just completely missed the part where they told me.

Riku was the original "chosen one".Kairi hot hers because her heart was inside of sora in kh1. and king mickey i guess its because the keyblade had a brother ;)

Hmm I'm not sure why King Mickey has one but apparently in the past there's always been a keyblade holder. I dunno if you saw the secret ending to KHII but:

(SPOILER)There's talk of the keyblade war for KH3 suggesting there's always been more then one at a time.

Also it's said in the KH: CoM that not all Keyblade Masters ever use their blades, most dont even realize they're chosen, maybe it just happens this time around all the chosen ones are all active since there's a huge threat?

I didn't read that spoiler because I haven't seen the secret ending yet.

But I was under the interpretation that Sora was the keyblade master. I don't recall there being multiple keyblade masters.

There may be a difference between a Keyblade and the Keyblade...

I am guessing there is more than 1 keyblade but only 1 person who can truly unlock its potintial. that potintial is the wielding of the 2 keyblades.

Riku has one because his was not a real keyblade that can unlock and lock the worlds all his does is unlock a heart

king Mickey has one because he found one inside kingdom hearts

and kairi Do you see her in this one. Or at least with sora .

I really think that that secret ending clears up the whole number of keyblades question. (SPOILER)There's a whole freakin' bunch of them.

I know that riku's keyblade was formed when all of the princesses of hearts are togather. And in chian of memories they were calling sora the light and that riku is the darkness so I think that there are 2 keyblade masters one of light and one of darkness, and micky is just a gurdian for the keyblade
