So I was making one, and I noticed the thread appeared even before I had made the poll. Is there a way to simultaneously post the thread and the poll at the same time, or will we forever have to endure posts like "Hey the poll isn't up yet"?

You know, that's a very good idea. I don't like it when that happens.
What poll?
That's how it was before vb3. Not sure if we can fix it.
xD I approve of your poll choices!
I voted for " GODDAMMIT PROTO"
yea, it's been that way for a while, ever since we upgraded to vb3. I'm sure jelsoft is hard at work on fixing it though.
Well, you just go to 'Thread Tools' -> 'Attack New Poll', but I'm sure you knew that already. Is it that big of a deal? :cat:
That's how it works, but the problem is that the thread is made while the poll is being created. It should be that the thread gets made after the poll is created.
I think that the real question here is that Agent Proto should not have been allowed to change his name. We all knew thee so well as Pr00t, but now... with this new craptastic name... It's like part of EoFF just died.
It's like I change my name at least once a year, but remember, I always go back to Agent Proto. Seifer 007 (not 006.5) is a tribute to Seifer 007 of the past.
Cram it, Proto.
That's the least of your problems.Quote:

How could anyone possibly vote for the first option when the second is so appealing?
But yeah, this has always been kind of annoying. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it, but if it's possible then it's definitely a good idea.
It seems very odd to me that, with all the complex things vBulletin can do, it can't create a poll and a thread at the same time. Maybe there's some information about the problem on their site.
it used to create them simultaneously but I think they separated the two to give users more control over their polls.
