What was your first anime?

It was KumKum, adventures of a young cave boy. It was a cheap video my nana bought me when I was 6 or so to watch when I went to her house. Strange I was watching anime from a young age.

Um... Either Pokemon, DBZ, or something I watched on Japanese stations while my mom was stationed there for the Air Force.

Voltron, Speed Racer, and Mazinger Z on t.v. when I was a kid in the early '80s; and Fist of the North Star and Akira for movies when I was a teen. All were excellent, and I highly recomend them. I guess I could throw in the old anime movie of Heidi back in the '80s; but I don't really want to remember that, so...:greenie:

Gundam Wing was the first one I really got into.

EDIT: not counting Voltron and Transformers (the originals are the only good ones :p )

Digimon and possibly Gargoyles (not sure if it was considered an anime or not).

Pocket Monsters or Dragonball...I dunno. I do still love Digimon, no matter what anyone else says. :p :cat:

Dragon Ball I believe, though I started watching Sailor Moon almost immediatly after it aired on YTV.

BTW Digimon has a special place in my heart too. I kinda liked all four seasons that were aired in North America...

I never got into the fourth season, guess I got tired of it. But I still <3 the first three. :love: :cat:
