In some games, when naming a character, they go to great lengths to include every symbol known to man, and then some.
Does anyone ever use any of the special symbols when naming their character(s)?

>>> I just use capital letters and numbers..
I try to include either CAPS or the letter 'x' in as many names as possible.
They don't like it when I combine them, though. I used to be known as XXXRYE, you know... ended badly.
Never have, never will.
In Me & My Katamari I used the heart character in my island name, but that's about it.
Nope, I never use those damn symbols, but hey 7 year olds might:tonberry:
I always stick with Default, if I cant, I just use letters.
If Lost Number doesnt fit, ill use L_N with an underscore.
'So it's $tŁaltha$$a$$in?'
In Animal Crossing, I named one of my characters B.J., followed by a kitty head. That's the only time I can think of.
I use the default.
Default - unless I have to name the main character , for example Dragon Quest VIII - "Diz" short for "Dizaster" (spelled Disaster, I know, but I'm known as Dizaster) :D
Nope. Just basic letter....I may get as exotic as using a period.
I use the default.
If there isn't a default, I spend the next half hour trying to think of a name, cause I suck with names.
Actually first time through I usually use default names. After that I'll assign whatever comes to mind, and if nothing does, it's default again.
If Skarr doesn't work with the character then I usually go with........(trying to think of a good name with symblos) :mad2: ......
