You have to copy that address and paste it in the address bar for it to work.
Heck, I'll give you an easy guide.
You need:
- Chocobo Lure (bought in the stables)
- at least 4 stables (40.000 gil)
- 3 Carob nuts. (Steal from Vlakorados outside Chocobo's Sage house, the green area.)
- 1 Zeio nut. (Steal from Goblins on Goblin island on the far northeast on the map.)
Let's do some catchin' and matin'
- Catch a Great chocobo nearby Mideel. (catch two if you have six stables)
- Catch a Good chocobo nearby the Gold Saucer area. (catch two if you have six stables)
- Mate a Good and a Great chocobo and use a Carob Nut. (Save before you do this.)You'll get a green or a blue chocobo eventually.
- Release the parents, or wait for them to be ready to breed again.
- Catch another Great and Good chocobo. (if you only have 4 stables.) Mate with a Carob Nut. Definitely save before doing this. If you got a Male Green chocobo last time, you need a Female Blue now.
- You can race with the chocobo's in the Chocobo Square in Gold Saucer to increase the chance of getting a coloured chocobo. This is recommended. Not obligatory though.
- Mate the Green and Blue chocobo using a Carob Nut. Save first. You'll eventually get a Black Chocobo. Chocobo racing is still recommended.
- Catch a Wonderful chocobo (Nearby the Snowboard village.) of the opposite gender of your Black chocobo. Mate using a Zeio nut. Woah, GOLD CHOCOBO.

we do have a front site! that guide is not that thorough but it tells you the basics.
I think as Tifa I tried to get a Gold Chocobo but I think I made it all the way to black, but couldn't get a gold one. Is it possible w/o racing them?
woah, we have a frontsite?
Anyway, that guide is neat. It leaves out all the crap you don't need and is written simple and great. thumbsup.

Statistically, you have about a 5% chance of getting that gold chocobo without racing your black and wonderful up a couple of classes. And the chances of an s-class pair mating is 95%..... I'm not sure what the in-between combinations make for stats. Never figured it to matter.
