I think my favourite bass line has to come from FF8 too. I like 'The Stage is Set', thats the one when Irvine and Squall are getting ready for their mission at Deling City.
Oh man...Several! I just really can't think of them now...:/
I can't think of any exceptional bass lines in a Final Fantasy game.
I take that back. I like the bassline that is played during the missile base mission in FF8. The one that plays in Midgar is pretty cool, too.
Bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFX/X-2 has some REALLY nice bass lines, FFVIII too. Bass lines add such a nice and deeper feel to songs.
