I want to know when you think someone stops becoming a newbie. My personal opinion is 3 months, cos then you have learnt the rules and avoided being banned for being n00bish.

3 months is the noobies cutoff for the ciddies too.
You sure you aren't making this thread to see if you're "newbish" still?
Anyways, I think the question is silly, you can not be "newbish" if you read the rules the first day, they're usually all the same rules for all forums, and they're pretty common sense.
8 Months, if they have a custom title, they've proved they're not N00bish and been here long enough to not be a newbie. Though some people lose their sense of e-humour and become mod-whores. It doesn't really matter that much. Unless some of the oldbies have Newbiephobia.
This forum's actually pretty clear about this stuff. Because of The Ciddies- you know when you're a newbie, a regular and a veteran.
Being a noob doesn't really come into that. You can have been here for years and still be a noob. Being a newbie isn't such a bad thing. You get laughed at it, but in a loving way. Becasue you have every potential of being a well-loved veteran. That's always the way it is, isn't it? New kids get laughed at, but it's nothing personal. It's just everyone else deserves to be able to pick on someone.
If you're a noob, people will always hate you. In a hating way.
Of course, you can just wait for the site's anniversary. They make a few jokes, disguise you as Jebus, and you get stuck with a custom title. Months before you should have one. :)
I'd say after about 100 posts or so.
37 years.
Definitly not, anyone could do 100 posts in a few minutes. It counts for nothing.Quote:

When you know all the inside jokes of the forum and people talk to you.
Thus, I still have a long way to go.
