I know about Tina and Lock, but what about the other names?
I'd like to use them on my next playthrough. :)

Sabin = Mash
Can't think of anymore off the top of my head.........:eep:
No worries, I already found the other ones from searching. :D
It's obviously like this:
Terra = Tina
Locke = Lock
Sabin = Mash
Cyan = Cayenne
Strago = Stragus
And the day was saved! :)
Yes indeed, so feel free to close this thread. :DQuote:

Or we could discuss the Japanese names vs. the American names. I prefer Sabin to Mash by far.
IIRC, "mash" is supposed to mean "squash", or something; mashed tomatoes!Quote:

I think Tina sounds a little cuter that Terra, but I've grown used to the English versions, so Terra feels more... correct. :cool:
Tina is supposed to sound "exotic" or something, but it doesn't sound that way in English, so they chose "Terra".
In Sweden we pronounce it ['ti:na], but the English people probably say ['tainu] or someting. :cool:Quote:

I prefer the english names, Terra is far great then Tina, as is Sabin to Mash.
I prefer the English names. I hope SE doesn't give the characters their original Japanese names for the US GBA version
They didn't fix Rydia or Edward for FFIV, so don't worry about it.
