Orchestra vs Piano
There have been a lot of remakes that I've noticed, now fore you to decide which is better. The orchestrated versions of FFOSTS (eg: FF7 Reunion Tracks, FF8 Fithos Lusec Withos Vivosec), or the piano collections (self-explanatory).
I'll got with orchestra.

In my opinion the piano arrangements tend to be better. The orchestral arrangements are poorly arranged and do not make use of the potentials of the symphony.

Why not go for both? I mean, there are some excellent FF songs that have both a piano and an orchestra, such as Aerith's theme (FFVII Reunion), Love Grows (FFVIII FLWV), Dagger Cuts Her Hair (FFIX OST Plus), Zidane and Dagger Separate (FFIX OST Plus) and At Zanarkand (FF More Friends Concert). And while they aren't FF songs, the march ending songs for KH and KH2 are both very well done, "March Caprice for Piano and Orchestra" and "Fantasia Alla Marcia for Piano, Orchestra and Chorus".

I like both to be honest, though I do in general prefer the piano arrangements. I also play piano now, and can therefore learn the piano collections songs. That also gives them an edge over the orchestra stuff for me.

orchestra. i always thought of piano as to be second grade - once again, IMO...

I voted for piano just because it makes One Winged Angel bareable;o
although FLWV is pure sex;oooooo

I'd prefer orchestra-arrangements. *Votes* Whether they're better than the piano-versions or not isn't a factor right here and now.
