Just wondering about this. I began 3 files to just see what names and stats my initial clan members have.
In all 3 files, the stats of each and every member is the same. Is this supposed to be the case or is there supposed to be variation?
Marche: 59/14
Montblanc: 43/44
Human Soldier: 60/17
Bangaa Monk: 47/14
Nu Mou White Mage: 36/60
Viera Archer: 45/16
Maybe you just got lucky three times in a row, try another seven times and find out the truth.
thats what i got every time. the names vary and a think sometimes the stats change slightly but the jobs are always the same.
Stats don't change then. Does it matter?
You might want to look at more than just HP and MP... I'm not sure if they change, but they might. I'm too lazy to look it up myself.
If they don't, it is likely because the jobs have a base stat at level one (or two, since as far as I can tell, it is completely impossible to get a level one character), as well as their average stat growth. With the highest level member of your clan being only level four, the characters haven't gotten a chance to build their own unique stats yet.
