What's in a name?
What is your full name, and what does it mean? These two sites should give you the meaning of your first name.

http://www.parenthood.com/babynames.html
And this one should give you the meaning of your last name.

My first name (Rhody) means "Bed of roses". My middle name (Augustus) means "Majestic dignity; grandeur, Revered, Exalted". Perfect. ;). My last name (Tobin) means Goodness of God, but I couldn't find it on the surname site, so I looked for it amongst the first names.

It didn't come up for my last name, but I know what it means anyway
Murphy translates into 'Hound of the Sea', (Idk what language, gaelic?), which is a pirate. My ancestors were pirates! yay!
-
I hate these things because they never have my Chinese name (including last name) and when I enter my English name... oh WOW, Joy has to do with rejoicing! I'm enlightened :>D
-
My first name (Maxwell) means Capable, so in Arabic I'd be Qadir. It could also mean From Maccus's pool, or Mack's well.
My middle name (Roman) means from Rome.
And my last name is too odd, so it isn't in there. It used to be borjinou (sp?) (red wine) so says my insane grandmother.

Not to scale
Liam: unwavering protector, form of William; Irish.
Shane: god is gracious, variant of Shaun from John; Irish.
Donald: From the Gaelic name Domhnall which means "ruler of the world", composed of the Old Celtic elements dumno "world" and val "rule". Two kings of Scotland have borne this name.
Well, that was exciting.

Middle Name means lily
and last name: From a nickname which originally designated a person who played the part of the pope in a play or pageant. Otherwise the name could be used as a nickname for a man with a solemn, austere, or ascetic appearance. (If you can't guess, my last name is Pope).

First Name:
Ryan (Male) - Celtic. Means "little ruler/little king".
Middle Name:
Gregory (Male) - Latin. Means "watchman".
I couldn't find my surname. Apparently "Stage" isn't common enough to warrant an origin (or I missed it).
-
Sian: English: Jehovah has been gracious; has shown favour. A Feminine form of John. Variant of Joan. From the Old French Jehane. Famous Bearer: American actress Jayne Mansfield (1932-67). Jayne Mansfield isn't called Sian.... It didn't have my surname, an I couldn't find it on any other sites either. :(

First name:
NAME Charles
ORIGINS English [5672]
MEANING A man. French variant of Carl adopted by the English since seventeenth-century reigns of King Charles I and II. British Charles Prince of Wales. [2]
Middle name:
NAME Wesley
ORIGINS English [5672]
MEANING From the west meadow [3]
Last name:
My name wasn't on that site, but I remember reading somewhere that my last name (Colvard) is actually a corruption on one of three other English surnames: Calvert, Colvort, or Colbert. The first of which means "Shepherd or Cowherd" the second meaning "treacherous" and the last meaning "a bright ship."
So my full name means either "Shepherd from the western meadow," "Treacherous man from the western meadow" or "Bright shipman from the western meadow."
*shrugs*

First name:
PETER - A rock. Peter the biblical fisherman and apostle had impulsive nature and rocklike faith. In Catholic tradition he is the first pope.
Surname:
HUANG - It's from the Song Dynasty, in the 10th century. It means "yellow", the color of the earth, and the symbol of royalty.
Characters of my chinese name:
ZI - Offspring, child, fruit, seed of
YAN - flame, blaze, hot
My full Chinese name is Huang Zi Yan, which my parents chose due to it's likeness to the name of a warrior of the Three Kingdoms era, Zhao Yun who bore the style Zi Long (meaning Dragon's offspring). They tell me that because I was born in the year of the dragon, they didn't want me to have it in my name as it's really lame and obvious. My younger cousin got the name Zi Long instead.
The name Peter, they just pulled out of their arse. They had no idea. xD
