This is the first I have heard of it.
notice how square is the only ones seemingly not confirming this? it's just another fanboy hoax.
Yeah, square said they aren't working on it and there are no plans as of now. Furthermore, it would take 5 years and a staff of 300 people to remake the game to match the quality of the trailer.
Not to say it won't happen eventually though, seeing as how fans are practically begging for a remake though.
