:choc2: when i go into the town All the sudden my screen turns black and the overworld music is is playing When i press ctrl alt del it says not responding i tried downloading your patches but they didn't work because they did not fix the problem that occured

That's one type of crashing in Balamb, but have you considered missiles crashing in Balamb?
One of the few times I can think of where a cutscene was made specifically for a game over. Outside of your standard game over card.
