Megalixirs didn't appear until FFVI.

Give Blue magic to a monk or Knight who has high HP and high defence and have them be your healer using Whitewind
they might appear in the Advance version. they did in FFIV
mp isnt a huge problem anyway because spending one turn to use an elixir and fully restore HP and MP is usually all you need. and the summon magic pheonix can work similar to a megalixir. if you have doublecast or X-magic or something like that and you can revive fallen characters with full HP and MP. useful for tricky battles when low HP spellcaster are k.oed a lot.
