Relic Ring

Hey, I'm new here, just thought I'd drop in, because I love FFVI to death. ^^

Anyway, I've got a question. What exactly does the Relic Ring do? I haven't been able to find an explanation anywhere so far, except that it makes the wearer's body "cold." But, what does that mean? I've tried equipping it on someone, but it didn't seem to do anything.

Equip it on Umaro and he will begin using a new attack.

Ooh, really? It's not the Blizzard one is it? Because doesn't that come from the Blizzard Orb or something? I don't really remember.

I've played this game several times but for some reason, this is the only time I think I've actually gotten the Relic Ring...

Err, sorry I told you wrong, I was confusing Rage Ring with Relic Ring.
The Relic Ring gives your character 'undead', but not 'zombie' properties. i.e., immune to petrification and some other random and useless stuff.

Yeah, your character will basically be a zombie. Casting a cure related spell or using a cure related item on them will hurt them, but casting Doom on them will completely heal them.

Try wearing it for a play-through of the game, it really changes your strategies up a bit.
