The Velvet Nightmares in the movie are not gunblades. They are only guns, and do not have a blade.
I don't think they look like gunblades at all. They aren't even close in similarity to Squall's gunblade...
Yeah, it's jsut a gun with a long barrel that ALMOST takes the shape of what may look like a small blade. But nyooo.
I thought it was a gunblade at first. Then he started shooting with it and I thought, "Hold the phone! It's not a gunblade, but some sort of... Blade-gun!"

Only the looks.It's not sharp at all.All it does are fire bullets like a normal gun and can block powerful sword attacks.
It lacks a blade, so it is not sharp.
It looks like a mini gunblade
