I honestly prefer the original most of the time, usually has the best people for the role (sometimes in sequals they cast a different person than the original for the same part, really stupid). Just curious as to what people prefer.

Usually originals. The only sequal that I thought was really great was Pirates of the Carribean 2.
Always originals, then sequels, then prequels, which always suck.
Originals, definitely.
But I always like prequels more than I like sequels.
Depends on the movie I'm seeing.

Originals.
Originals. Sequels tend to be of lower quality (matrix sequels)
I'll say originals just because they're so scarce these days. Almost everything is a sequel or a prequel or a remake or an adaptation.
Origionals. Unless an opening is deliberatly left-and often even then- sequals tend to suck. Horribly. They tend to lose sight of what made the origional good in the first place.
Oh, God, tell me about it. :rolleyes2 Disney has gotten especially bad at this as of late. I mean, a sequel to Bambi? That's just pathetic.Quote:

Originals are the best and sequals work in a saga of movies it didnt work for the matrixs they totally messed that up but it worked with a lot of other films like star wars (The Originals) and The Godfather.
It really depends on the movie in question.
Originals, but there are lots of exceptions.....
