Yaaaaaaaay!!!
What is this exactly?
An anime following the events that happened 5 years ago with Cloud Zack Tifa and Sephiroth
Oh is there more episodes?
No it's not rly even a show it is just a short movie.
does anyone know the release dates for this? ive heard of it but dont know much about it. and im quite sure this is the wrong forum.
1. It aint comin out in America, you can only download it
2. It is in the right forum, in Japan Last Order came in a two pack with Advent Children.
It's crap, to be quite frank. It doesn't add anything to FFVII at all and some of the changes that they made actually manage to ruin the continuity of the plot (o hai Tifa). The animation and action sequences aren't anything special either.
The end was sad :(
It was only worth watching once, but I enjoyed it when I did watch it. I thought it was pretty cool, but nothing too special.
My friend downloaded it, then burned it on DVD for me.
And I have the ending song, too, if anyone wants it.
Yeah, I've seen it once before. It gives you a more clear idea of what actually happened at Mt. Nibel (since the graphics of the game quite literally looked like Lego people and it was really hard for me to tell what was going on at times), but it is nothing more. It's good for one watch, but that's about it. Nothing particularly cool about the fight scenes or anything. Just kind of revisiting a very important part in the FFVII storyling.
And retconning it in minor ways.
And to the person who said it destroys the continuity- hint: Tifa might not have remembered, what with the horrible blunt trauma she'd just suffered.
Y'know, the most interesting aspect of Last Order is that whatever Sephy did to Tifa left no cuts on her body or clothing, no blood, no signs at all, but was still severe enough for Bugenhagen to be worried about her safety. Of course, it could have just been another of her week long comas and he was just freaking out, but he.
That's the one part of the Nibelheim Incident I've always wondered about. How did Tifa manage to get cut (at least that's what it looked like) and then have no blood or any thing and be seemingly perfectly fine afterwards.
>_<
Seeing it in anime form cleared up several things for me, at any rate.
