I like Red XIII because he's always so level headed about things, that and that he's the last of his kind & his background with his Father is quite interesting.

Yuffie because she's just so cheeky and mischevious.
I'm better in cloud though...but when i was fighting omega weapon...vincent's limit break erm...vampire?or chaos?I forgotten but it's Vincent who save me on the battle against omega weapon.
I like Tifa and Cloud the best... but I guess Tifa the best of all.

Battle wise, Cloud.
Character wise, Cid.
Cloud because he is the one that allows me to get matiria up faster because of a 3xap ability of one of my favorite weapons.
Cloud is my favorite of the playable characters, but Tifa and Aeris are great characters too. Cid is great for laughs since most of his lines are quite funny, and Yuffie is great at the end of the game since her ultimate weapon gets stronger when facing stronger enemies, and she's the only character who can deal a lot of damage while using Morph.
Red XIII's 4 cut is better than all the others, so him
Tottally Vincent....He has the mysterious past with the Turks and Hojo. Plus his limit breaks are freakin sweet.
All the ohter characters are about just as awesome...except Yuffi and Cait Sith....I hate those two. Yuffi annoys the hell out of me.....and how do you attack someone with a megaphone?!?!
Nanaki would win, except Cosmo Memory sucks. Cid wins, therefore.
