'Cause Nero's smurfing me up over hear.
Unfortunately, most of the recent CD burning software is bloated. I've used Roxio CD Creator for a while now and it's not bad. As long as you don't need to burn dual-layer DVD discs, version 6 (somewhat old) is great.
Depends what you are trying to burn. when I'm doing my own CDs/DVDs, I usually use an old version of Nero (5.5.10.42), and if I'm burning images of CDs/DVDs, Alcohol120%.
It's just that when I try to burn an audio CD both nero and acoustica say there's no disc. If this helps once my brother thought he broke the tray for the F drive (I'm pretty sure) and it stayed crooked hanging out of the computer, but I placed it back on the trail and pushed it in and it worked. You think that had something to do with it.
It could very well be.
But the tray works. The computer even makes it come out to put the CD in.
Just because the mechanism that allows the cd to extend a piece of plastic out doesn't mean that the streams of electrical impulses that are translated from the holes in the cd read by a beam of concentrated light are not interrupted by some thing some where.
Hmm. That could be it. Thanks. A lot, really.
burnatonce is a good, free, nonbloated burner for Windows, by the way, if you're still looking for one in the future.
Sure, thanks.
