Ok, I've followed several walkthroughs of getting him, and when I input the code for the safe it just doesn't work.... Can Anyone help me out, or give me a correct code?

Did you go past the correct number?
If you pass the correct number, you cannot back up, you have to start over. So if you start and "spin" it to the right past 37, even by one number, then the lock won't open and you have to start over. So make sure that you always stop exactly on the number and don't go past it.

.... All I get is, fail. Its because something's wrong, Ive been trying for half an hour..... It won't work. I hit each number dead on, and when I miss I restart. Is there anything else I can do?
I did a search at gamefaqs and found this combination in one of the guides, give it a try and see if it works:
Right - 36
Left - 10
Right - 59
Right - 97
thank you!!!! It worked, them lousy sites saying it was 37 as the first number. I just beat Lost Number. Thanks again!

Maybe the writer of the other FAQ was dyslexic?
Or enjoys putting in wrong information so people will get screwed up when they use it.
actually, I think one person made a mistake and then all the other people copied him/her....
I guess the moral is: Never trust walkthroughs.
