Why is everyone boring? I have not been here lately, so I require the input of you to figure this out. Has the obsessive political correctness of the administration crushed your wills? Did the new forum style pump subliminal "be boring" messages into all of you? Have all the interesting members merely been here so long that nothing is new to them?
There are other options, of course, but I predict people will attempt and fail to be witty in bringing them to my attention.
We learned how to spell "You're" correctly, and our boringness level went up from there.
I agree. Save about 6 or 7 people, most people have been hella boring lately. :( Very repetitive. Also, there hasn't been a Cloud No. 9 or a crashNUMBERS in the while to amuse.

Yes, this place bores me. I have seriously considered posting a highly controversial link in a thread which would probably make Leeza not just ban me, but hunt me down and castrate me. Someday. Soon.
Too many new people making repetitive nonsense because they think it's witty and new. An unstoppable growing memberlist where it's harder to find any connection to anything. The magic being spread to thin. Whiny cries for attention vs somethign funny or creative. Lack of a government willing to squash the mopiness because they want to appease all the members, not giving them something to rally on. Lack of Elitism, apparently.
It is LITTLE MANUS that kills my boredom. :bigsmile:

It's only boring if you're willing to make it boring. If it is boring you're probably not trying hard enough to make it not boring. When in fact it's very much in a state that isn't within boring, or not boring, you've gone and made it so that it would appear that that is not that which is within not boring, in other words not not boring. So really what you should be asking yourself is not is it not not boring, or is it not boring and I merely see it as not not boring. Alternatively it would help if you saw is as not not not boring, which would solve the problem outright.
And yes, there's not as much Elitism around anymore. That's probably why.
The last one. Obviously I'm not one of the interesting members, but I can still safely say that the number of truly entertaining threads has hit a low as of late. Every topic has been discussed more than once, and there's no real innovation to speak of. Even the Ciddies have started to become repetitive, as a few people picked up on last time round.Quote:

Usernotes are really where it's at these days. It can be hard to hold down a subject for a good conversation, but it's like a smaller world with all your friends.
I'm a member of a forum that has killed itself with it's own rules. It's actually against the rules to use internet acronyms. No "lol" or "wtf?" or anything like that.
Actually, I could have been put in probation for the grammar in that last paragraph.
Even better, just IM the people you enjoy speaking to. That's where most of my good conversations have come from.Quote:
