need help again. k, the other day i was lookin at the enemies for ff6 and i came along the Earthguard and it says that u can steal Megalixirs from it:eek: so i tried it and locke wont steal smurf all.
also i went to go level up at the dinosaur forest but i keep gettin pincer attacked although i have a back guard equipped.
I don't think you can get pincer attacked if you have a back guard equipped.
Anyway, Locke's... vigor, I think... determines what he can steal/how often he can steal it. Oh, crap, I don't remember what affects it.

ya its still freakin happenin. i equipped setzer with a back guard before going into the forest and im still gettin pincer attacked by smurfing dinosaurs
If I remember right than the relic never works in dinosaur fights so it's not a glitch in your game.
Locke's level and the enemy's level are the main factors in determining how successful he is at stealing. You can also equip a Sneak Ring or cast Dischord to make it easier.
I think even if you did steal from him you probably wouldn't get a Megalixer. It's a rare steal so there's probably a 1% chance of getting it every time you do a successful steal.
i think stop can keep earthguards from killing themselves so it would you give more time to steal.just try and try.
and no,back guard does not work on a pair of tyranoes so you better have some other relic equipped.
