Top XX...X? Video Game Songs
In this topic, you will list you top favorite video game songs. The number of songs you can list will start off low, but will increase each day to a maximum of... well, I'm not sure. When posting your songs, try your hardest not to have any ties (if you do, forget about those songs, choose another, and give a shout out to your songs at the end of your post), list reasons why you like those songs, and if applicable, list whether the song comes from an arranged album. 1. As I Feel, You Feel (FFV)- This is my favorite song in the entire video gaming world because it is a gloomy, yet calm song and nostalgic, yet just a bit mysterious that it makes me think of my childhood a lot. The main instrument in the song sounds ia little sharp and painful to the ears, but the harp in the background synergizes with that instrument to make a beautiful tone.
2. The Desire to Fly Exceeds Words (Wild ARMs 4)- When I first heard this song, it really irked me because it sounded like a simple guitar melody and I would always close it before it finished. But as I kept listening to it more and more, the song advanced into something magnificent more and more as each minute passed. By the end of the song, the simple guitar melody turned into a mix of various 'western' type sounds that sounded hopeful, majestic, and grandiose.
3. Angel's Rain (We <3 Katamari)- The first thing I think of whenever I listen to this song is of a french city colored in peach. It's sunset and the entire city seems to drift off into sleep, accompanied by a singer's soothing voice and a beautiful accordion tune. From all the songs I've listened to in my life, this is the only one that always makes me think of that same peaceful image, an image I always hope to experience.
