Well, I was doing my normal forum jumping around today, and realized that I'm a member of a huge amount of forums. Quite a bit, and strangely enough, I post a lot of notes, replies, topics, etc, in each of those forums.

I realize that I am a guy that has nothing to do for the next 2 weeks, so I do all kinds forum posting.

Blah blah blah, the point is, how many forums are you a part of?

Me, I'm a user in seven different forums, but only two FF forums. The rest are about gardening and fishing.

Anyway, I am a member of a couple of different forums. They are:

deviantART. I dont have a collection of my own there but I add comments to other peoples works sometimes.

gamestm. Thats a good video game forum.

gameFAQS. Thats fun for a bit of flaming now and again. Most people on there must be about 12 years old though :(

And I have 2 'secret' other ones which I dont wanna mention here in case people follow me around to there :shifty: I need privacy sometimes!

Oh, and obviously here too. :)

So... that makes 6 all together!

I generally try to not get caught up in too many forums, since it's just kinda tedious to keep up with so many communities, but I am an active member of the following right now:

FFNet Forums (Not the other FFNet that some people confuse it with)
Caves of Narshe (general video game and Final Fantasy forum. But be careful, they're really strict...)
Eyes on Final Fantasy forums (Yes).
Valhalla Forums (Valkyrie Profile forum)
FBF (Genji's forum)

I also post on Gamefaqs for whatever game I'm crazy over for the current month but sometimes the flaming and spam is just unbearable.

None of the other boards I go to are active.

I have gotten quite a few PM's from pleasant members kind enough to offer me a place to interact with other people, though.

I only post here at Eyeson.

However, I used to post at Aiyon, Final Fantasy Republic, Athenia Online, Square-Enix Forums, Final Fantasy Legend, Knightmare Proboards, Final Fantasy Shrine, Final Fantasy VII Citadel, Fool's Gold, General Discussion UK and Final Fantasy Infinate.

That was before my relationship. :p

Digital Wedding Forum - Professional photography forum. Since it's a $99 commitment every year to be a member of the forums, you don't get a lot of the silly spammers or trolls that plague other online forums. Aside from my cameras, DWF is probably the greatest resource I have as photographer. Plus, some of the greatest photographers on the planet post there and I'm like totally awe struck sometimes. :eek: The caliber of posts and posters is amazing, really.

Television Without Pity - I'm a big time lurker there. I post only occassionally, but I do read a lot of the posts, and their forums are like my #1 resource for spoilers. I love me my spoilers.

Eyes on Final Fantasy - Well, yeah. :D

I think there are more that I stop by every now and then but I can't remember them at the moment. I'm very big on blogs right now though. I can list a bunch of blogs I look at daily. :p

I occasionally post on FFLegend, but it's been deader than a doornail and mostly everyone else on staff hates me. <3 Other than that, all of the forums I used to post at are dead forever.

Other than here I'm a member of RagnaInfo and Court Records. I'm pretty much a lurker though.

-World of Monkey Island Forums-I'm a huge Monkey Island fan, and this is the forum of the best MI fansite on the Internet. (It seems to be temporarily down right now.)

-Griffinsoft Forums Mostly just because my friend Griff is one there. It's starved for members currently, but if more people joined it would be an excellent forum. The lay-out, subscriptions, etc. are all top-notch.
