It boggles my mind that there are some people who haven't seen The Big Lebowski. Clearly, those people need enlightenment. It's clearly John Goodman's best role ever. Discuss.

I would insert a witty quote from the movie involving German nihilists, but none seem to come to mind.
Anyway, yes, more people need to see this. I used to watch it every time it would come on Comedy Central.
You haven't gotten the real Lebowski experience if you've only seen the televised version, although some of the edits are fairly amusing.
This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps.
That's almost as bad as some of the lines in the edited version of Mallrats.
"All it took was a fat karate punch!"
Hah, I guess that one works. xD I remember a line when one of them was confused about what a nihilist was. Or the fight scene in the parking lot of the bowling alley. I can't remember.
Donny: Are these Nazis, Walter?
Walter: They're nihilists, Donny, nothing to be afraid of.
Oh yes, I think that's the one.
Indeed, Goodman's best role.
Buscemi was also, as usual, golden...not to mention Jeff Bridges' role. It's only competition being "Tron." :D (...you can't mess with virtual motocross.)
Am I the only classical music nerd that noticed Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Art Exhibition?"
...without a doubt one of the funniest and most enfuriating edits in movie history!Quote:

I so have this on DVD. Now I need to go watch it again.
if i have a favourite movie this is the one.
well that's just like...your opinion man
The character introduction of The Jesus is one of my favorites of all-time. Hotel California in Spanish, that is brilliant.
Eight-year-olds Dude.
I want to see it cause of Steve Buscemi
While the movie is pretty enjoyable and funny, I think people overplay it far too much.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like...your opinion, man.
