Does that just mean a mod or admin loved you and decided to give you a nice shiny title?

It's when somebody's member becomes recognised. Don't hold me to this, but I've heard Giga Guesses recognition was freakin' huge!

No. It's given to someone who has contributed to the site. Such as hosting tournaments, contests, etc. It is not given to someone just because a Mod or Admin loved them. You have to earn the title by working for it. Every RM has a specific reason for why they have the title.

The more you sleep around the more your recognized, but when there's more than one staff member involved it makes it harder to make staff because then jealousy and the rest of the emotions are being flung all over the staff forum.
