*calms down* No, it is not the best. IMO I think this is a very good game. It is my favorite. But it is not the best. Why? Because nothing can ever be the 'best'. There is no such thing as being the 'best'. Opinon varies from person to person. Some may think it's the best and others may think it's the worst. Unless everyone can agree that something is their favorite, in every way, shape, and form, nothing will ever be the 'best'. That includes this game. And such a thing is impossible, since one thing cannot possibly appeal equally to everyone. It may be one of the better game in the series; but it's not the best.

There is no best game ever, its all opinion. My opinion is yes, FFVII is the best game ever, AND IM DAMN PROUD SAYING SO !
so as not to offend dragon mage, i'll say "IN MY OPINION" ff7 maybe the best :D i'm always torn between which ff i like the most, between 7, 8, and 10. dunno wot th hell they wer playin at with 9 :D i wonder if 12 will pitch it wen it's released, or maybe 13!? hmmm . . .
It's good, it's easier and more fun to complete than some other final fantasies.
IMO its not the best RPG. There are a few RPGs out there that rank number one for me, this isnt one of them. I prefer FF8, but if its your fav, fair enough.
I like FF VII. Not of my favorite FFs, but I still like it. It's good, but not great as some people make it out to be

Meh, FF7 is an ok RPG IMO. Most of the characters were very boring.
