There's no real tips that you need... It's just your standard melee class.

I guess, learning all sorts of skill chains can help immensley. And having a few subjobs leveled never hurt (like WAR, THF, DRG and RNG). Also, just like any job, you learn how to use your abilities efficiently and effectively as you progress through the job.

samurai is a skillchaining machine. you get TP way faster than anyone else and sam is a dynamic and fun job to play. you'll pair up with nins and blms and you guys will get some amazing skillchains.
