Well, I find the comments below that article to be incredibly stupid...
But anyway, I heard of a guy who got bitten by a coral snake. He killed the snake by biting its head off, then used its body as a tourniquet to prevent the venom from spreading through his body, saving himself.
It's the Sun. What do you expect? Anyway, an American beats up a Jew, and then a Brit comes to the rescue. ...nope, I can't make a joke out of that one.Quote:

Cohen was asking for it, wandering around the streets in full Borat character. Borat's character just doesn't gel well with certain types.
I can't even pity him for what happened.
That one in that film with Toby Maguire. You know? He's a fan of a Tv program, and then gets sucked into it and turns it into colour. I like it when the firemen save the cat from the tree.

There was some thing with some guy in Australia. He was playing cricket with his kid, and the ball went in the sea. The kid went to get it, and a shark came towards him. So the father jumped in and beat it in the face with his cricket bat. And little sharky left.
Yes, that. Was that as big outside of Australia as it was inside? It was absolutley massive, they spent half of the news time on this, saying what they are doing, how they sent iPod's down for them, what the risks are, it got really quite annoying after a while. But it was great to see them get out finally. I think it is the best rescue ever.Quote:

It was a fairly big deal here in England; then we've a strong history of mining and we as a nation tend to be fairly endeared to the industry (especially after the unpleasantness during the 80s). Also there's the Commonwealth ties. Anyway yeah, it was pretty big over here.Quote:
