How to get the "fishing game"??

I was wondering how you do this.. im looking at gamefaq and its not there.

First of all, this sidequest becomes available after the events in the (SPOILER)Draklor Laboratory. You need to speak with Ruksel in the Estersand, then go to Balfonheim and speak to the person who is fishing near the Aerodrome. After that run to the Aerdrome's entrance and run back to the fisher, and take the rod that you see on the wall. Go back and speak with Ruksel and thus begins your fishing minigame.

Do you know how many perfects you need to get to go beyond the upperstream??

You need five perfects.

ohh wow.. i musta got 40 perfects but not in a row how many overall fishing spots are there?

How do you get the Matamune rod????
