Is there a way to get rid of your account on this site?

Or is it one of those logout and don't login again things?

That won't get rid of your account, though. You can't delete it, and as far as I know the staff doesn't delete them. Even if you get yourself banned, the account will still exist.

Accounts generally only get deleted if there's a massive prune, which doesn't occur much.

We don't do that anymore.
