I'm about to beat the game for the first time, and I was wondering what tips you all have for me?

Oh, and more importanly where do I get this "Octagon Rod" at?

Buy it in the item shop at Esto Gaza. But you get only buy it before you leave for Terra.

Above all else, having alot of Status-Prevention Abilities will help alot.
