An Eye test

EYE TEST!

Every human has a blind spot in each of their eyes. Position your face between the X and the I below focusing on the dot between them. Close your right eye and look across your face at the letter I with your left eye. Now move your face back and forth at the screen, at a certain distance the X should vanish somewhere between 30cm away.

This happens to all animals except squid, so if it doesn't work for you then the only logical conclusion is that you are a squid.

Well this isn't so much to do with your eyes, but it's really really freaky!

My colleague told me this from work:

Turn your right foot clockwise (like make it draw a cirlce in thin air) for about half a minute, then write a number 6 in thin air with your right hand (whilst still moving your foot).

If you have done this correctly your right foot will automatically turn anti-clockwise!

Great i'm a squid... stupid defective eyes.

We did something like this in psychology class.

No matter how hard I try, I still see X, maybe I'm ill.

I know something really wierd like this..

It IS possible to seperate the two halfs of the brain. The only thing that keeps the two halfs together is a bundle of nerves. This surgeory is usually done on people who have seizures at regularly.
For those that dont konw the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa.

So when this is done that means your left eye looses is right field of vision and your right eye looses its left field of vision. OR basicly, if a person who had this done did this particular test.....when they focused on the dot odds are, there left eye would not see the I and there right eye would not see the x........

It somehow did not work.
It worked when I saw it in a magazine though.
