Vagrant Story, just the game itself.
Attempting to sit through the original Dragon Quest for the NES without dying from a self-induced coma.

Beating Omega in FFV without using the Sshot!/sorcerer/Two swords strategy. Ozma from FFIX was a pain too. Their is also trying to get Pink Tails in FFIV and just trying to beat FFX-2 without losing your will to live.
But I still think that just trying to beat Vagrant Story is the hardest. Even with a strategy guide it's still difficult but it's far more difficult (and fun) to do it solo.;)
This is gonna seem really wussy, but beating the Steamwood Forest section in Brave Fencer Musashi for the second time in the game. They made it a lot harder the second time around, and things in games with time limits are always harder for me than any boss battle or pitfall I may encounter.
I forgot about that part:eek:
No, that was a pain in the ass with the timer and all. I almost broke my controller in frustration a dozen times.
Glad someone else remembers what I'm talking about.
I went through many a controller trying to beat that damn area.
ffVII weapons...not to mention getting 100% in ffx-2.omg i dont want to go through a pointless scene to get .04% just so i can get the perfect ending!!
Final Fantasy X - wobbly chocobo.
Warmech in the original. Suppose to be a rare encounter but I seemed to fight it everytime I went to get Tiamat.
