Thunderball FTW! It has a young Sean Connery, Tom Jones singing the soundtrack, lots of action, wittier lines(Don't mind her, she's just dead :D ), and an awesome battle at the end.
Definitely Thunderball.
Never Say Never Again was an embarrassment to the Bond franchise.
Never Say Never Again sucks as a James Bond and as a film in general. Thunderball is a ton better.
Thunderball is awesome but damn does it ever feel SLOW. I never did like Never Say Never Again.
I'm gonna say Thunderball. I hate how Never Say Never Again doesn't have the classic Bond music.
The Italian and the French broads in Thunderball were hotter than Kim Basinger, so does this mean I should like Thunderball better?
Yeah the lack of the classic Bond theme in Never Say Never Again is a bit of a letdown but come to think of it...the 2006 film Casino Royale didn't have the James Bond theme either.
Sure you hear it briefly in the backround and it slowly builds up during the film but you don't hear all of it until the end of the movie. Instead you hear motifs of Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" which serve as Bond's theme through out the film.
Never Say Never Again wasn't even an official Bond movie, and was a crap film anyway. I think Thunderball is one of Connery's weaker Bond films, but it's still way better. And Casino Royale doesn't have the Bond theme until the very end because it's a 'beginning' story, and the events of the film shape Bond into becoming the character we're used to in the later movies. It was fitting for it to show up right at the end of the movie.
