By the way, let me give you some background: My first Square experience was with Kingdom Hearts, which I had enjoyed immensely. At Best Buy I saw Final Fantasy X on display for 15 bucks and have been in love with the series ever since. I have played VII and VIII and am now currently enjoying the old-school V and VI. VII is my favorite in the series so far.
I would get IX first out of those three.
i would play XII last. i would play IV before IX
Just go in order, IV, IX, XII.
BTW - You will <3 IX, or at least you better.
