Winner Revelations Thread

Hello ladies and gentleman, good morning, good afternoon and good evening to you all and welcome to the official winner revelations thread for the tenth ever Ciddies. These Ciddies have been brought to you by various sponsors including the Ciddies Committee, Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums and Chatroom Community, The Cookie Monster Smilie and A Picture Of A Turkey Hitting A Dog. Once again we have our highest ever participation, and we also beat the December 2005 Ciddies in every area possible - more nominations, more nominators, more nominees, more finalists, more votes, more voters! Awesome stuff - you can't ask for more than that! A massive thankyou to everyone who got involved. We also have more presentation speeches completed on time than last year, which is great!

I'll be your host for this thread, meaning that the thread will be extremely lengthy - at an estimate, it'll take about 12 or more hours to get through all the Ciddies (and Highwind Awards). With the help of all of my many volunteer presenters, I hope that we can keep you entertained and bring in a crowd of posters to the thread - I'm relying on you guys to post your thoughts as things go on. I refuse to double post, so if you guys aren't posting, I won't be either! No double posting should be done by you lot, either... so don't get too spammy, okay? ;)

The Ciddies will be revealed in reverse order from #50 to #1. In the first post for each Ciddie, I'll be giving you a bit of detail as to who won the award last time, who was the leading nominee (by amount of nominations) and who our Ciddies Prediction Party members predicted to win - a big thanks to all seventeen of them for providing their thoughts to help make things interesting. After that post, the presenter will give a short or long speech - there will be a variety of them - and then I will reveal "Those that didn't make it", leaving just 2-3 members with the possibility of winning. After that, the winner will be announced... that means at least four posts for every Ciddie! YOu can imagine just how long this thing can end up being. :D

Along with the Ciddies will be the Highwind Awards, as introduced last December - one for Forums Staff and one for Site Staff. The unique thing about these awards is that they are voted on purely by the staff associated with them, and I'm sure the winners will take great pride in receiving them. These are in acknowledgement of the fact that a lot of the work done by the staff of EoFF is not seen by the general public, and only the staff can give a fully informed opinion on how well their peers are doing overall.

Now, one last thing - this will probably take me a hell of a long time, so there will be breaks throughout the thread where we can all go and eat, drink, sleep, that sort of thing. Well, I'm hoping it won't come to needing to take a break to sleep, but you never know - it's happened before! So please bear with me as the last eight of so hours I've spent awake have been non-stop work on getting this stuff ready for you all.

This speech was quite a ripoff of December's one, which I apologise for, but I was running out of time after typing up the tally and sorting out all the speeches!

What an award! There are so many people going for this that I can easily see destroying the internet and for so many different motives as well! There are many ways to look at this award. You can go with the angrier people like Christmas, Darth Holmes, and Lost Number or you can go for the quieter ones, the ones you least expect. Either way, everyone on this list is insane, so you can't be off too much!

Bladen, who has a burning hateful soul behind that beautiful innocent face of his.

Christmas, whose fire text could easily burn EoFF down, along with the rest of the internet. She'd laugh too, you know!

corncracker, who is bitter from his lack of usernotes, despite giving so many to others. You guys should really give him more usernotes, because if you don't, he'll destroy your interweb.

Darth Holmes, the irate Chun-Li lover who wants to rid the internet of GTA fanboys with his bear hands, starting with EoFF. And don't get in his way, or he'll fist you.

Lost Number, who'd destroy the internet for his land, Ireland, but he would NOT scream "FREEEEDOM! FREEEEEEEDOOOOM!" because that's from Braveheart, which is Scottish. ;__;

Psychotic, who already wants to destroy AOL, by burning one AOL disc at a time. I could easily see him making his own new internet after that, and people named Martin would not be allowed to use it. And he'd demand a tax of tacks.

Miriel, the one you'd least expect, aspiring to destroy O RLY Owl images everywhere, even if she has to go through EoFF first. Would she do it? YA RLY.

Perola, who justs wants people to do 69! That's all she wants! It's not her fault that she might destroy the internet. She was just upset from the
lack of 69ing! Why won't you just DO IT? For her?

Samuraid, who may not be the mild mannered techy we all love. He's sick of you all harping at him to put your photos on the album. Upload this, upload that! He's sick of it! Why can't you just do it yourself, he thinks, about to destroy the interweb. Being an admin, he has the power!

Yamaneko... hell, Yams would NOT destroy the internet, he's too lazy. Unless he had some henchman to order about, which raises the question of who his henchman could be. I could see Proto being the button pusher and level puller in his schemes, with that million dollar smile of his.
